First up, Lionsgate has set Joe, staring Nicholas Cage, for Blu-ray and DVD release on 6/17 (SRP $24.99 and $19.98). Extras will include 2 featurettes (The Making of Joe and The Long Gravel Drive: The Origins of Joe), deleted scenes, and audio commentary with director David Gordon Green, composer David Wingo and actor Brian D. Well… it goes without saying that there’s nothing we could reveal here today that would be nearly as exciting as yesterday’s announcement by Criterion that they’re delivering a whopping 25-film Zatoichi: The Blind Swordsman Blu-ray box set in November.  Our collective heads are still reeling from that awesome news here at The Bits today!
