A Divx Display at Circuit City

So you want to know just how Circuit City is displaying Divx in their stores? Look no further... here at two photos (courtesy of Bits reader Victor Hudson - many thanks!) of a Divx display at a CC store in the San Francisco area. Victor tells me he was none too pleased to see Divx billing themselves as an enhancement of DVD. I couldn't agree more. In that first picture, the spotlights should be shining on the DVD logo methinks. Having seen it first hand, Divx lacks anything that might even remotely be called exciting. For the record, that banner behind the sign in the bottom picture reads: "Divx: The Best Way to Watch Movies at Home!" Yeah, right. In any case, look for more of the same to come to a CC store near you this fall.
