Capturing the natural beauty and personality of your pet....

I have been a photographer since high school. I worked for the campus paper in college and took photographs whenever and whereever I could. I have been entering the Orange County Fair photo competition for six years now, and in 2006 received a first place blue ribbon and also won the color print division with my latest entry.

I've always felt there was something special about capturing an image of a certain time, person, pet or expression. For me, it's a great memory tool as well, photos can be a porthole to a time or place. I've always loved animals, and taking photos - for me, this venture is a natural.

I like to work with natural light and in native settings. If you are interested in capturing your pet(s) in a fun, natural and artistic way - drop me a line! Of course if you like, you are more than welcome to jump in the picture too. Create special family portrait, or holiday card - the possibilities are endless.

I have seven wonderful cats of my own that are tired of me taking their pictures. They are hoping you will let me come take some of yours. You can also see more of my photos on the Happy Cats website.

OC Pet Photos was founded in 2006 as a realization and merging of my two passions - animals and photography. I can't have enough photos of my cats, and if you share the same love and adoration for your pets, and consider them "part of the family", you may feel the same. Even if you take lots of your own pictures, to have another persons perspective and can be refreshing and fun!

Volunteering to help animals in need

I am a strong supporter of animal rescue programs, and am the photographer for Happy Cats Foundation. My husband and I have volunteered for Happy Cats for 5 years, helping with the annual Santa Paws (pictures with Santa) fundraiser, as well as contributing photographic services, a website redesign and regular website maintenance.
