Announcement-wise today, 20th Century Fox has set Glee: The Complete Fifth Season for DVD only release on 1/6. Extras will include a pair of featurettes and a “jukebox” feature.

I’m sure you all spotted the Battlestar Galactica news from Universal yesterday – fascinating.

Speaking of Universal, the studio is releasing the classic Knight Rider TV series on Blu-ray in Japan this week (on 11/27 – see this link at Amazon.co.jp). It’s possible we might see it here in the States next year as well. I suppose it’s too much to ask for Buck Rogers in the 25th Century on BD next?

And Anchor Bay Entertainment and RADiUS have set Horns for Blu-ray and DVD release on 1/6, starring Daniel Radcliffe.

Also, it looks as if Disney may be getting ready to release Aladdin back in theaters next year in 3D (on 9/18), with plans for the Aladdin: Diamond Edition Blu-ray to include Blu-ray 3D on 10/6. This according to the Disney Wiki. We’ll see.
