Now then, Lionsgate has announced the release of a number of popular catalog titles on Blu-ray Disc in new Steelbook packaging.  They’ll be available initially only at Best Buy stores starting this weekend in order to be around for Black Friday deals week.  Titles will SRP for $19.99 each and include Pulp Fiction, Total Recall, Sin City, Kill Bill Vol. 1, Kill Bill Vol. 2, Terminator 2: Judgment Day, Rambo: First Blood, Stargate, Highlander, Hero and Apocalypse Now/Apocalypse Now: Redux[Read on here...]

Meanwhile, PBS has set Downton Abbey: Season Four for release on Blu-ray and DVD on 1/28 (SRP $54.99 and $49.99).  The season begins airing in the U.S. on PBS’ Masterpiece from 1/5 to 2/23.  The Blu-ray and DVD will feature the original U.K. edits of the show with 30 minutes of bonus content.

Don’t forget that Sherlock: Season Three starts airing in the States on PBS Masterpiece on 1/19 (then episodes 2 & 3 air on 1/26 and 2/2) and the Blu-ray and DVD street on 2/11 (SRP $39.99 and $29.98).

Also today, Shout! Factory has officially set the cold war thriller Raise the Titanic for Blu-ray release on 1/21.  Extras will include a new behind-the-scenes featurette The Making of Raise the Titanic and the film’s theatrical trailer.

IFC Films has set the modern western Ain’t Them Bodies Saints for Blu-ray and DVD release on 12/17 (SRP $29.98 and $24.98).  The film stars Casey Affleck and Rooney Mara.

Finally this morning, do any of you live in the L.A. area?  The beloved Creature Features horror, sci-fi and fantasy collectables store returns after a 10-year absence this Saturday (1/23)!  The new location is at 2904 W. Magnolia Blvd. in Burbank, CA.  You can visit their website here.  Don’t forget that they’re co-sponsoring the Ladyhawke screening at the Arclight next Tuesday night (11/26) with Q&A to follow with Richard Donner and Laruen Shuler-Donner (moderated by our friend Cliff Stephenson).
