In announcement news today, Kino Lorber has just set Prince of Foxes (1949) and No Highway in the Sky (1951) for Blu-ray release on 2/7, with 23 Paces to Baker Street (1956) due to follow on 2/21.
Universal has set Max Steel and Kevin Hart: What Now? for release on Blu-ray and DVD on 1/10.
And Shout! Factory and Major League Baseball have just officially set the 2-disc The 2016 World Series for Blu-ray and DVD release on 12/6 (SRP $34.99 and $26.99), followed by the 8-disc 2016 World Series Collector’s Edition: Chicago Cubs on both formats on 12/13 (SRP $79.97 and $59.99). The Collector’s Edition includes “all seven complete and uncut World Series games, all wrapped with SleeveStats which offer official stats, game trivia and more to enhance the viewing experience. Also included are a bonus disc of the pennant-clinching NLCS Game 6 at Wrigley Field, as well as four audio options, allowing home audiences to watch the games while listening to either the television broadcast, Cubs Radio Network announcers, the Indians Radio Network or a Spanish-language version of the broadcasts.” 108 years, Cubs fans! That’s a must-have, right there.
