Paramount has confirmed that it’s re-releasing Zoolander on Blu-ray on 12/1 in a Walmart-exclusive Limited Edition that comes in Steelbook packaging (see above right) and includes new bonus features (a Breakdance Fight Rehearsal clip and an Alternate Brainwashing Sequence Storyboards clip) plus all the previous extras.

Scream Factory has set the horror anthology Nightmares for Blu-ray release on 12/22. It includes both widescreen and full frame versions, plus audio commentary with executive producer Andrew Mirisch and actress Cristina Raines, the theatrical trailer, and radio spots.

Twilight Time has revealed that they’re working on Born Free (1966), The Detective (1968), Mysterious Island (1961 – Encore Edition), Kings Go Forth (1958), Nineteen Eighty-Four (1984), and Harlock: Space Pirate 3D/2D (2013) for Blu-ray release on 12/8. They go up for pre-order on Twilight’s website on 11/20 (at 4 PM Pacific). And you can see the cover artwork here (the links take you to Twilight’s website)...

Finally, here’s a bit of very cool classic Disney news: The British Film Institute has just announced that they’ve discovered a rare and believed lost Walt Disney animated film, Sleigh Bells (1928), in their archives. The film features “the first ever Disney character, Oswald the Lucky Rabbit, a long-eared precursor to Mickey Mouse.” You can read more here at the official BFI website.

Here’s a look at a little more new Blu-ray cover artwork (with Amazon.com pre-order links if available)...

Memories of the Sword (Blu-ray Disc)    Meru (Blu-ray Disc)    Ant Man (Blu-ray 3D)

Stay tuned...
