In release news today, 20th Century Fox has set the CG-animated Turbo for release on Blu-ray 3D, Blu-ray and DVD on 11/12.  All three will include 4 featurettes (Champions Corner, Be An Artist!, Team Turbo:  Tricked Out and a TURBO F.A.S.T TV Show Preview), Holiday Favorites previews and World of DreamWorks Animation music videos.  To this, the Blu-ray versions will add Smoove Move’s Music Maker, Meet Tito, The Race and an interactive Shell Creator.  You’ll find the final Blu-ray 2D cover artwork below.

Meanwhile, CBS has revealed that their Star Trek: Enterprise – Season Three Blu-ray, due in stores on 1/7, will include a pair of new HD documentaries: In a Time of War and Temporal Cold War: Declassified.  This is in addition to new audio commentaries and all of the extras that were included on the original DVD release.  More details to follow.

CBS has also set Sidney Poitier’s Separate But Equal for DVD only release on 1/14.

Cohen Media Group has just set D.W. Griffith’s landmark 1916 silent classic Intolerance for Blu-ray and DVD release on 11/5 (SRP $34.98 and $24.98).  The release is mastered from a new 2K restoration of the film with musical soundtrack in mono on DVD and 2.0 LPCM on BD.  Carl Davis’ orchestral score is also included in Dolby Digital 5.1.  Extras will include 2 full-length features (The Fall of Babylon and The Mother and the Law) each accompanied by new scores from the Mont Alto Motion Picture Orchestra, a 2013 historical featurette, new essays by Cineaste magazine editor Richard Porton and historian William M. Drew, and a theatrical trailer.

Lionsgate has set Night Train to Lisbon for DVD only release on 12/17, followed by Ritual on DVD only on 12/31.

Showtime’s House of Lies: The Second Season arrives on DVD only on 1/7.

And here’s an interesting surprise: Paramount is releasing the Shogun miniseries, starring Richard Chamberlain and Toshiro Mifune, on Blu-ray sometime likely in Q1 2014.  [Editor’s Note: We originally posted a street date of 3/25/14, but we’ve been informed that is not yet finalized and is likely to change.  Just FYI.]

Just a heads-up: Tomorrow’s Oktoberfest Giveaway is over on the Jahnke’s Electric Theater Facebook page, featuring Factory Entertainment’s amazing Frankenstein VFX Bust prop replica!  Be sure to head on over there and “like” the page so you’re eligible to enter!

Finally, Disney has instituted a replacement program for their recent Little Mermaid: Diamond Edition Blu-ray.  Apparently, the order of a couple of shots during the song Part of Your World were switched inadvertently.  If you’d like to request a replacement copy, call this number: 1-800-723-4763.  Thanks to Bits reader Daniel P. for the heads-up.  Here’s the error posted on YouTube:

[Editor’s Note: There are apparently other errors as well, so good for Disney for correcting this.]

Here’s a look at the Blu-ray cover art for Fox’s Turbo, Cohen’s Intolerance and Magnolia’s Touchy Feely (due 12/10)...

Turbo (Blu-ray Disc)    Intolerance (Blu-ray Disc)    Touchy Feely (Blu-ray Disc)

Stay tuned...
