Millennium Entertainment has set When Calls the Heart for DVD only release exclusively at Wal-Mart on 10/15, then it goes into wide retail release on 12/31.
PBS is releasing a pair of documentary programs on DVD on 10/15 – Last Will & Testament and Superheroes: A Never Ending Battle.
First Run Features has set A Fierce Green Fire and With Love... from the Age of Reason for DVD release on 10/1.
And History Channel’s Counting Cars: Season 2 – Volume 1 arrives on DVD on 10/15 from Lionsgate.
Finally, in news from around the Net this afternoon, the folks at AD2000 are holding a worldwide “Day of Dredd” promotion today to try and get fans behind the making of a sequel to the recent Dredd. Star Karl Urban apparently backs the effort. The idea is to try and get fans to buy or rent the film today (if you haven’t already) to show your support to the studio (Lionsgate) that could fund the sequel. You can also sign up to support the effort via this website.
