Here's a demonstration of HD-DVD's iHD interactive layer in the Toshiba booth, though with uninspiring cruise ship video rather than actual movie footage.

Though lacking in studio support, Toshiba has two things going for it. HD-DVD will be available first (in March) and their players will sell for well under $1000. Here's their HD-XA1 (SRP $799)...
